Sunday through Thursday evenings, the Femmegems store in Nolita hosts Bead Boudoir events, where you and your friends (4-8 people) can play with the dazzling array of semiprecious gemstones and pendants and design your own little works of art. (The Henri Bendels location also hosts designing parties for larger groups.) The $46 per head includes jewelry assembly and refreshments like wine and cheese, while materials like a strand of gorgeous coral nuggets and carved stone flowers are extra. All thumbs?
